Road traffic detour
The L 311 between Lachendorf and Eicklingen is being renewed. This will result in obstructions on the road to and from Wienhausen. From August 12, the road between Wienhausen and the entrance to Eicklingen will be closed. Detour are signposted.

The three-star superior HOTEL Am Kloster is located on the edge of the Südheide in the romantic monastery village of Wienhausen – centrally located between Celle, Hannover and Braunschweig. Consisting of three listed buildings and a newly built bed house extension, the hotel is framed by the mill pond with mill, the wedding island, the tourist centre and the Aller cycle path directly at the famous former Cistercian nunnery from the 13th century (today a Protestant convent). Free parking spaces are available for our guests directly at the hotel.

24 individually, exclusively, and harmoniously furnished rooms (including 4 handicapped accessible double rooms, 4 flats, 2 wedding rooms and 1 family room) invite you to relax and feel at home. All rooms are equipped with bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, telephone (our special service for you: call worldwide free of charge to all networks), TV, WLAN and safe. Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking guests are welcome to use our terraces. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
